Note that these “thermodynamics cards” do not know anything about thermodynamics. They just add and multiply.

This is not an “explainer video”! The purpose of the video is not to teach anyone about thermodynamics.

It's demonstrating a new representation of mathematical relationships, a different way of seeing and working with equations.

On another level, it's also demonstrating a medium in which people can make up dynamic mathematical activities like this, for themselves, in a day.
