I'm working on bringing the Apriltags work home to roost and needed some nice lensed BRIOs to do it, so I got to work retrofitting my first batch.

The instructions are great.

Trickiest bit is desoldering the LEDs but I've got some of that under my belt from modular synth work (I just used solder wick rather than my rework station, worked fine).

Just a few additions that aren't mentioned in the instructions: be sure to rescue the thermal pads from the BRIO housing and reapply them on the chips on the back of the sensor board. To remove the microphones, first push them out of the BRIO front plate from the back, then squeeze the rubber surround to pop them out. You can add the IR filter to either the interior of the new camera body, or to the back of the lens assembly.
