This is absolutely massive with endless implications! So incredibly exciting!

Yeahhh the feed-as-snapshot would be extremely sweet : ).

It's also making me think again about the "un-snapshot" idea we've talked about many times — Bret might wish for a certain arrangement at lab (e.g. based on an arrangement he has at home), the pages would print if needed and the supporter would show virtual yearned-for positions for those pages until a helpful human comes along and fulfills the wish. I'm imagining giving a live demo of e.g. DSP Kit and showing where to place the pages to build a feedback delay which Bret can then improvise with, and so on...

(and if the pages are already on the table but have new wished-for positions they can show a translation vector or animation suggesting where they should be)

Tremendous! (& tremendously long!)

When you mentioned wanting to edit the far-away page in the "camera feed", I got strong snapshots / miniatures vibes! Could you make your camera feed a (dynamic) snapshot? Then I think you would be able to just point an editor into it and edit it directly. Bet that would feel pretty good!

(Admittedly, the miniatures would want to run on the table in your house...)

Set up a lamp at lab, put it on the private network, and collapsed space and time.  I forgot to mention in the video that we were able to do this last night even though the lights were off at lab, because the lamp provides its own light.

(Also: I added the plotter to Realtalk, and printed a 42" page.)
