Sam and I met on Friday and reassembled Peppy from it’s sad party face:
(It fell from the ceiling due to a very heavy HDMI cable after I tore out the USB port of the servo board through more incompetent ceiling mounting and things just went from bad to worse as the night wore on and I attempted solder, gorilla glue, psychobabble, …)
We took the opportunity to better-document how to build a Peppy. These are the things you need:

AAXA Technologies P300 400 Lumen HD Pico Projector
ACHROMAT, 22MM DIA BY 70MM FOCAL LENGTH
Multipurpose 6061 Aluminum Tube
1" OD, .902" ID, .049" Wall Thickness
Multipurpose 6061 Aluminum Tube 3/4" OD, .652" ID, .049" Wall Thickness, 1' Length
Black Delrin ® Acetal Resin Sheet
1/2" Thick, 6" x 6"
Parallax Servo Controller
Then, you do this:
Gently pry out the circuitboard from the enclosure; unplug speaker, fan, RGB, and DLP
Unscrew the lens and light source
Unscrew the lens (four screws)
Assemble and attach new lens
Snip lens cover off of front plastic panel
Reassemble projector
…and at the end you have a peppy!
