We should have an open-house / anniversary party, where we invite everyone that came to the lab-warming party, and everyone else we can think of, and let them wander around the lab playing with the things we've made in the last two years. 

I'd also like us to have an "off-site" for a few days.  Partly to try to recapture the magic of Garish Los Angeles Hot Tub House.  Partly as a way for us to sync up with each other and what we're thinking about.  Partly as a designated "Great Thoughts Time", to think about what we want the future to be.  And partly to stop, take a breath, and think about what we want to do with the lab for the next year, especially given the new funding coming in.

We were thinking that it might be fun to do these two events back-to-back -- work up to the open-house, have the party, and then get out of town.

Scheduling -- it's seems best to try to squeeze this in after people come back from holidays and before RMO leaves for Germany.  Maybe somewhere in 1/19 - 1/25?  If someone thinks a "Doodle" is in order, they can make a "Doodle".
