Playing with providing spatial tables of contents for the "Being in the World" film.

When I was watching the movie, I felt like I wanted to know where I was within the structure, and to be able to "look back" at what was shown before and make connections.  At the end, I felt like "I've been staring at this screen for 80 minutes and remember being very moved emotionally and intellectually, but I don't really have any grasp of what I just saw."  (I feel that way after many films/videos.)

These are three strips, one for chapters (below the screen), and one for "masters" and for philosophers (to the right of the screen).  I'd also like things that indicate topics or concepts, and where they are.

All this could be made interactive with lights and lasers etc, but I think this one is just a "mockup" to help think about watching a movie within a representation of the whole.  (And to think about how big these things should be, how they should be lit, what angles work better or worse, etc)

There is a vertical strip to the left of each person, indicating which chapters the person is featured in.
