Oh, there’s also this

Great progress. This video made me think you might be able to emulate the Bad Apple video Bret sent out using Peppy Projector.

Yes: I can’t wait to do some video prototyping with Peppy P.

Meanwhile, Glen gave Peppy some eyes:

The character of the whole thing is becoming very Pixar now. Video, 15sec, with Glen using the “white dot UI” to “perform” with Peppy.

Here we are in the library—look at at how much brighter the 300lumen Peppy is compared to the 2K-lumen benq-beast:

…and look at how nicely Peppy uses her (?) 800 horizontal lines of resolution, up against Poppy BenQ’s 1080 giant boxes:

One funny thing that happened when we started projecting book pages on the wall is that the naive laser-finder picked up on the bright rectangle, such that moving the projector actually sort of flipped pages.

The newfound resolution works in other places, too:

The biggest issue at the moment seems to be jitter when using the ikea tables. If we’re really moving these things all around, auto-focus will be important, and some of the auto-tilt-shifting will also be necessary.

Peppy: welcome to CDG!
