hi bret & toby,
before i forget, a few notes about your hyperopia i left in the cdg library
- it's plugged into a power strip that's turned off. i didn't want to
leave it on 24/7 because the raspberry pi gets a bit warm and i'm a
bit nervous that the book could alight.
- if you turn the power strip on, within ~45-60secs, a wireless
network called "HYPEROPIA" will appear. the

and after connecting, any website you go to will redirect to the
interface it's hosting. for instance, "hyperopia.com" will work.
- the interface will work, but printing will not. the 2A power-supply
i have doesn't supply enough juice for printer + pi + wifi to run
simultaneously. i used a powered usb hub at the opening, which does
the trick, but i took it because it was a european hub and i didn't
feel like leaving my bulky everything->everything adapter.
- don't know how much i'll get around to documenting the project, but
a demo and the code are now online:

demo:

- if you want to play around with the software or configuration, you
can log into the `pi' with username: 'pi'
