Recombinant DNA experiment
by Parthiv Shah, Toby Schachman, Josh Horowitz
This entry is a stub, and will be expanded on a future archiving pass.
A group of scientists from UCSF’s department of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, coralled by Shawn Douglas, visited Dynamicland.
We built a kit in Realtalk for planning and visualizing DNA cloning, along the lines of SnapGene.
In Realtalk, building and exploring the kit was a communal activity.
Toby and Josh explain the project.
Shawn got distracted making a gel electrophoresis simulator. (See Gelbox.)
