Dragglebot

by Paula Te, Josh Horowitz

This entry is a stub, and will be expanded on a future archiving pass.

Second iteration of the Token table (2016), now in Realtalk. Wish for an object to be somewhere, and the Dragglebot will drag it there.

If we can draw on objects (with a pen) and move objects (with our hands), objects should also be able to draw on objects (with projection) and move objects (with robotics).

One motivation was to save and restore arrangements of physical objects, in the same way we save and reopen a document. (First example is Lines n' Splines (2017).)

The name is a reference to the “danglebot” vision in the Zine.
